What is the DV working group doing?

A diurnally warming event in the Mediterranean Sea observed by SEVIRI, 2nd July 2006, centred on 41.5N, 6.5E. The diurnal warming compared to the previous night is about 5 K maximum, and >2 K over a wide area.
Land and cloud appear black. Observation time, 1400 UTC.
